You thought it would be easy to crack the Galactivault's security--the password is 12345678--but in practice it's a bit trickier than you expected.

Goal
Enter the number 12345678 to win.  You can see how many clicks it took you in the lower right.  Lower is better!

Rules
The Cryptalculator, on the left side, is in base 10 and has keys for 0-9, +, -, x, ÷, =, and clear; press these keys with left click.
Executing an operation updates the display, so if you enter 2 + 2 +, the display will update to show 4 at the second + press.  This implies that an operation on an empty display updates the display to 0.  If you enter multiple operations in a row, only the last will take effect.
There is no decimal key, but the decimal point in results will be masked like other values.
The display will truncate trailing decimals, but if the value is too large to display, it will clear, as it will upon division by zero.

Labels
To the right, a set of labels has been provided for your convenience.  You can right-click and drag these onto buttons; if you assign one to a numeral, the display will reflect this assignment in green regardless of its truth.

New Puzzles
By default, the puzzle is seeded so it's the same every day; if you click and hold DAILY, the puzzle will restart.  RANDOM will produce a new random puzzle, though this is really only interesting once.

This is a toy project built to practice making things in Godot.  Thanks for playing!
